I collaborated with New Zealand–born Toronto artist Anna Church to capture her immersive Hyphae event celebrating sustainability, artistry, and community. Shot in a natural, documentary style, the film highlights the atmosphere of the gathering, from Anna’s sculptographic works inspired by fungi and mycelium to the meaningful interactions between her and her collaborators.

The final piece reflects the spirit of the event: creative energy, conscious living, and the beauty of connection. Filmed without narration or animation, it relies purely on visuals and sound design to tell the story, offering an authentic glimpse into Anna’s world and the essence of Hyphae.
I even grabbed a few stills with my film camera which ran out of film halfway through hence the black and white + colour :)
