About the Film
Supernature: Beneath the Bloom began as an exploration of Toronto artist Anna Church and the creative process behind her Supernatural collection. As filming progressed, the project evolved into a broader reflection on creativity, community, and the unseen connections that shape both artistic practice and personal growth.
Inspired by the mycelium networks that exist beneath the forest floor, the film explores the idea that meaningful growth rarely happens in isolation. Through Anna's work, it examines the relationships, support systems, and communities that quietly sustain us.
